Jekki Maknae Jang Suwon enlisting into the army & Happy 2010!!

Sigh on Dec 30th jekki maknae jang suwon has been enlisted to Military Service. Read from jekki fans it was suppose to be on the 28th but due to some circumstances he had to delay it on the 30th and gosh what a really bad way to usher in the new year for suwonne =(

I really hope he could acclimatize to the army environment, i wonder which unit he got in? i hope he could get in the same unit as Jaeduc or Jaejin hyung so that they could take care of our baby jekki! Suwon sshi hope you will stay healthy in the army and we will wait for your return in 2 yrs time ^_^

Its funny and ironic how some of the jekki fans are furious abt jw decision to be at kbs award on the 30th as the "supporter" only for us to knew later on, that sw is enlisting on the 30th as well. Hmm I really wonder does any of the jekki member has given our jekki baby member any farewell msg or encouragement msg? And why isnt there's any pic of him entering the army i wanna see sw new look with a new w/o hair hairstyle :D

Btw Happy 2010 and whats your wishes for 2010??!! Whats my wishes for 2010? Hope that i could get a good job once i grad in march and foremost of all more collaboration of jekki members together in 2010 esp when jaeduc are out of army in june :D

Anyway hope all your resolution and wishes for 2010 will come true and may 2010 be a smooth, happy and eventful for all jekki fans! :D

The mc asked the group which member have the most popularity for girls. Then Ji Won said that Ji Yong is the one. He stated that seeing how Ji Yong looks so handsome, it was rumored that Ji Yong had a surgery.

LOL that was so jiwon isnt it didn izzru mentioned jw way of expressing his affectionate towards his members is through teasing and he definitely love to tease jiyong haha of coz we knw that jiyong doesn has any plastic surgery done he was BORN to be a natural handsome just like a perfect prince charming ^^ and I dunno why but i like how jiyong expression when jiwon mentioned jiyong name to the mc =D



Ji Yong is saying that Sung Hoon held really tight on the sweet potato. As everybody fought over the sweet potato, Sung Hoon didn't want anyone to take it. So he didnt want to lose over a sweet potato ^^

LOL sunghoon is such a dork! Mr Kang just wouldn want to lose out when it comes to food huh even it was a sweet potato! Haha..

Changes of blog layout in commeration with the festive season

Ok i gave up after tweaking here and there i realise im really a noob on blog layout i actually wanted to furnish my blog background of that just like how izzru had done wonderfully and beautifully at both of her blog but after a few tweak and edit it just doesnt work so i decided to just make do with changing the banner only LOL..and to commemorate with the coming festive xmas, boxing day(which is my bday =D) and new year season i switch to the look of jekki "couple" day since it was during winter that they debut their 3.5 album and also i had always love jekki couple" look thus the reason why!

Dont they all looks so cute during the couple look ^^

Anyhow since im having a term break now i will be posting and sharing a few of jekki vid and pic in my later post hopefully =D

Holla! Jiwon Siren Is Now ON!!

Yes jiwon new song Siren is now ON! and it is so addictive too i would not say im totally in love with it as im not so much into hip hop genre but hey i think jw new song really adds onto a new flavor than his other past song and his lyrics seem pretty much simple to sing along too especially those parts when the words was just repetitive like the above short sample.

And it was just so nice to see jw move his groove again! Yea after soooo long tho its not those fast pace type of dance like how he dance back during his idol days BUT im just super thankful that he's back to dancing again! and jw DEFINITELY hasnt lost that move! coz dancing is part of his passion remember! haha seeing him dance kinda make me reminiscent on his past dancing idol day during jekki when he used all his strength to sing and dance with full of exuding charisma =D

Btw i suddenly remember since its Dec now wouldn that means our jekki baby suwonne will be enlist to the army pretty soon?! i wonder which date will it be on? i dun want him to go in discreetly, that gonna be so depressing for jekki/sw fans i certainly hope he wouldnt do that pls :(

Im sorry for the lack of post lately as i had ample of reports,essay and assignment deadline to meet but once i finish those i promise i will try to make my post again, hopefully :)

Various Jekki Remake/Cover Ver Songs From Other Artiste

Kim Jang Hoon - Couple Cover Ver


Im pretty sure this is quite a well-known remake of Jekki Couple song frm rocker Kim Jang Hoon. The tune and melody was changed to a rock-ballad tune to suit his rockish image.

If I was to rate this remake i will rate it 6/10 as i think the lyrics of this song doesn really quite suit or goes along well to rock.

J-Walk & Son Dambi - Couple Cover Ver


I wouldnt say this is a total remake as J-Walk is afterall part of jekki members =) but because Son Dambi was dueting this song with j-walk hence i regard this as part of the remake category and the remake was really good too that i will rate it 8/10.

Pureboys - Com'Back Cover Ver


A remake from Japanese actor cum pop group which consists of 7 members. The japanese title name to this song was Kampai Je T'aime which was released in Sept 26,2007.

In my opinon i much much prefer Jekki versions although suprisingly the jap lyrics does goes well to the tune but i prefer jekki not that because i favour them but i think the song suit jekki more and not to mention even jekki performance and dance step was more manly than the Pureboys which seem alittle bit gay? -.-

And oh there's actually an eng translation to the lyrics of Kampai Je T'aime in Youtube you can try check it out under the YT search engine, i do not wish to post it here as the meaning to the lyrics was kinda eh not so pure? Rate it: 8/10


Aaron Kwok Com'Back ver

Ok i dont know how credible it is but when i found this song somewhere it states as aaron kwok so i assume it was aaron kwok who sang it.

Aaron Kwok is a Hong Kong actor cum singer and this song was recorded in cantonese however Im not to familiar with his singing area thus i cant comment who's remake who's first(Lisa perhaps you can help to clarify if you knw abt it ^.^).

It was relatively average cover ver in my opinion and the tune was alittle bit more of electronic genre as compare to jekki ver which is alittle bit more towards to the electronic techno-dance genre but it was nice tho and im really suprise to hear this Com'back ver in cantonese haha.

I will rate it 7/10 for the aaron kwok canto ver =)

That's abt all that i could found the cover of jekki songs done by other artiste. Honestly eventho they are not as fantastic as the original but im kinda please that these artiste decided to do a cover on jekki because that just show how popular jekki are woot! Hope you enjoy it!

Its never my intention to rub salt into the wounded heart of jiwon fans abt his latest comment at 1d2n, initially i thought i will juz keep it to myself abt this issue when i first saw it at soompi forum but since i saw lisa and leo were talking abt this i too will like to share out my thoughts abt this issue..

When i first saw this news at soompi i was in shocked total shocked and not becoz of jiwon decision reason but becoz on the same night before i saw the news i was actually thinking abt this same issue in that same day! And i was fervently pondering what if jiwon was to announce that he wish to get marry, what will happen to my hope(to see jekki reunion),what will happen to his career etc..and bamz my pyschic pondering really happened!

Although i was quite shocked and sore abt his decision but i anticipated that it will happen sooner or later, honestly if i say im fully happy for him i'll be deluding myself as such im quite a new fan of him or rather jekki i wld say it does make me feel stab in the heart to hear this news so soon =( and this makes me more regrettable not liking jekki since 5 yrs ago ;( BUT like lisa said we cant be a selfish fan rite if he's happy with his gf and think that she's the one for him we fans shld bless him for his decision isnt it? beside his gf is 2 yrs older than him and are not getting any younger thus i believe it must be one of the reason of jiwon hitching decision?

HOWEVER Im alittle concern too if he was to get marry and have a little jiwon ;(, i really hope that his career wont be hinder by it coz honestly eventho sadly alot people seem to recognise him as eunchoding of 1d2n but he's is the only member of jekki that are still active in the ent industry since the rest of the members seem to be out of sight now =( and thankfully becoz of that jekki legacy are still being remembered/talk till now..

Actually frankly im kinda hoping jiwon will reconsider the next year marry decision coz when jiwon said that he plan to get married next year the first thing that came my mind was like "Oh No! What!! His baby jekki member Suwon would be still in the army and he wont have the chance to attend your wedding jiwon-ah"!

Anyway if ever jiwon big day has come I really really hope to see all the jekki members attending their hyung wedding and become his best man and also sing "Couple" song for his hyung on his big day BUT will jiyong attend jiwon big day when the time comes? this thoughts suddenly probe me as im quite skeptical of jiyong attendance since i believe he wouldnt want any media attention imagine if jy was to attend i think all the media will put the attention to him instead of jw lol haha and oh it will be a jekki reunion on jw wedding too! Lol juz having to imagine this thoughts are making me excited yet sore at the same time =)=(

Funny Say Perf..

Ok i believe most of the jekki fans would have already seen this funny Say perf whereby jiyong is lipsynching jiwon parts and jiwon is lipsnyching to jiyong part (if im not mistaken) lol thats how cheeky and naughty they were back then arent they so choding xD Miss those days..

And so my question is were that certain part was suppose to have jiwon in it? i mean frm the album itself i didn hear any jiwon voice for that part it was all entirely jiyong the one who sang it but when i saw another perf of Say i saw that jiyong sang the first half and then jiwon will sang another half just like the perf as shown below



And yes all this are actually making me confuse all over and i have been pondering abt this trying to find an answer eversince i first saw that funny say perf and up till now i still couldn find the answer to it which partly the reason why i blog abt this to vent out my curiousity in the hope some kind jekki fans angel could show me the enlightenment =D

Hi and hello to all and every jekki fans that visit my blog or izzru blog be it new or "senior" jekki fans :) Im so glad to see your comments here and share your thoughts here as well especially lisa,leosnoop87,dulce,izzru and not forgetting kate too who seem to be in MIA mode now that izzru has return haha. Really thank you so much becoz of you all i feel so connected to jekki and their fans now. Its really nice knowing you all :D

I would also like to thank izzru for painstakingly getting the jekki cd for me thank you so much izzru eventhough they are not new but at least i finally get to own some of absolete jekki stuff for momentum sake :) LOL i feel like as tho im giving out a thank you speech at the award ceremony now haha..

Ok just a slight introduction of me as a form of respect im from singapore, im a malay and im actually 24 yrs old now..yeah! not much of age difference with lisa,dulce and perhaps leo and izzru too :) i started to know jekki way back in 2004 due to their hot rivalry news btw jekki and h.o.t when i first got to knw abt h.o.t however, im not much of their fans back then(im such a bad jekki fans rite) as im more into h.o.t but i remember saying this sentence to myself when i first saw their pic back then that is "Wow jekki do have a good looking members too" and if im not mistaken im referring to jiyong and sunghoon LOL but now i regret so much that i didn crazy about them too back then. It was only recently in april that i started to like jekki after watching CTP old idol special and i had this sudden curiousness over these boys that i started to search about them all over the web:)I remember reading frm somewhere back then that jekki is always known as the best dance grp and now i finally knw why they are indeed the best grp with great dance move and great singing, mind they can even sing live perfectly while dancing too!

Anyway i just rewatched the video clips of the making of my love mv again and i just notice one thing which make me wonder was jiwon wearing the same pendant as jiyong wore during jekki days? Here is the pic of it;




Initially i didn really notice it when i first watch the my love mv making until when i rewatch it again just now (due to lisa comment abt suwon ducking away which trigger me to watch the making mv again) that i notice it..Isnt it the same? It looks kinda the same isnt it except for the chain :) the pendant was so dinstinctive when jiyong wore it that i could remember it vividly which is why i could notice it on jiwon too when i watch the video again. Hmm does all of the jekki members have that pendant too or was it juz a love token frm jw/jy haha..

By the way i been wondering abt this for quite some time ago does jekki have any logo just like H.O.T? coz i cant seem to find any of their logo around on the web :(

Jekki Aritaum CF Parody!!

Saw this flash video of at cyworld and i thought it was awesome hence decided to post it here. I would say the person who did this flash video was pretty good eventho it wasnt that complex but from the pre-planned layout to the execution of the flash was fantastic! I just simply love this flash video one of the few best that i have seen/like :)

Mr Ko Jiyong

I decided to post abt jiyong ssi in lieu to the jiyong stalk vid posted by izzru in her blog, initially I wanted to post my thought here abt that vid right after watching it at izzru blog few days ago but after watching it my mind was in a whirl, I felt my mind was sunken into huge great sorrow. When I watch how jiyong react quite strongly of not wanting to have any celeb-attention with the media when the host when up to him in that vid it suddenly woke me up into the hard reality all this while im just harbouring into a wishful thinking of my part and that jiyong really meant his word of what he said when he announced that he wanted out from the gayo industry few years back which meant he will never ever step back into the gayo industry which also means that if ever there is a jekki reunification it would be juz like Boyzone – an incomplete reunion coz 6kies would never be complete without all 6 members. As a fan I know I should respect his decision and I do respect it but can I be a little selfish to hope that he would come back at least ONCE more when the other members are ready to do a jekki reunion, just for that reunion will do after all he do have quite a big part in all jekki song.

Sometimes I really wish know to know what exactly triggers Mr Jiyong to decide that he doesn’t wish to be a celeb anymore after gaining himself a huge popularity from jekki. I mean it would most probably be all right if he wasn’t that really popular or from any unpopular group but this is jekki we are talking about a well-renowned group in Korea in the 90’s! and there’s a lot of people who will do anything just to enter in the gayo world but I look up to him for that though I guess he must have make quite a tough decision during that period..



Sigh Mr Jiyong look so much like an eligible bachelor now eventhough his images was kinda blurry in that vid but seeing him in that grey suit (which make him look even more cooler and sexier) and walking towards his office he look so much like a promising boss isn’t it :) Mr Jiyong even though now u no longer wanted to be a celeb I will still support you in whatever your doing and please like izzru state hope that you wont view your fans negatively they are after all your long time fans who have grow up and build bond with you/jekki for many years. At the same time i hope you will cherish and treasure the jekki times even though you doesn’t wish to associated with any jekki stuff now.Please be happy always just like how u are in the first pic Mr Jiyong!

I apologise for leaving my blog stagnant for quite some time as i been quite busy the past few week with my project stuff and exam but trust me nvr once did i forget abt jekki ;) THANK GOD its all over as it holiday period for me now woot!and im gonna spend my times watching and reminiscing and at the same time researching and collecting all the jekki vids and of course at the same time blogging here well that if i have something to share haha!!

This is one of my most fav suprise prank by sechskies i have the full ver of it whereby all the members were playing game and stuff but i thought i will juz cut it to the part that i like.

I juz find it sweet and cute especially the look on sunghoon face at 2:26 when he saw his members spraying the snow confetti and shout out saranghae to him after rushing out to get his members for teasing him..sunghoon is definitely easy to be prank on huh haha..but i wonder why they were playing this prank on sunghoon tho..

Im suddenly thought of posting jiyong special stage perf in 2000 concert where he sang an Elvis Costello song - She. That juz show how terrible the sound system is back then rite But i wonder why does it always happened to sunghoon mike and not the other members?hmm. Actually from the heap of vids that i collected lately i notice sechskies seem to have quite a few glitches during their perf onstage not only do they have technical sound problem, they even slip onstage and also had a busted stage during their performances but despite all those they continued their performance as usual now thats wat i called it PROFESSIONAL!

P/s: R.I.P Michael Jackson the world has lost a great legendary dancer, singer and musician ;( This got nothing to do with sechskies but juz thought i express it here since sechskies do sing his song too which is 'you are not alone' back then.

Ok i decided to post this vid after reading and watching the current CTP epi on izzru post whereby jiwon was talking abt how suwon actually got into Sechskies and i thought the vid really does show it(in a way at least)..

Well actually jiwon and sunghoon are frends back in Hawaii and they both been spotted by the producer when they visited one of the club where jw and sh performed and initially jiwon and sunghoon are supposedly to duet together only but due to H.O.T released and their released brings such a huge mega hit the DSP producer decided to bring in more members. Jaeduk and jaejin are both b-boying grp from pusan and they are being taken in to incorporate more power dancing (thats how they got their title as the best dance grp :])while suwon was actually accompanying his frends to audition and in turn of events suwon was the one who get spotted by the producer instead whereas jiyong ermm im not too sure on how he got in but read frm somewhere it was sunghoon who recommend him to the producer?

And so that is how the other members came abt :) Sigh how i wish these boys didn break up so soon coz i believe they could achieve much more if they didn break up sooner than expected :(

I want this look on Jaeduk now!

Im soo uber in love wif kim jaeduk above 2nd pic he juz exudes that sweet charm in that pic that till my first impression when i saw this pic was that "god he look abit like wonbin(my fav actor btw)" im currently trying to search for this kind of look on jaeduk but wif the whole grp but to no avail. I once saw it on naver in some blog but sadly i cant save them :( i soo wanna those grp pic but wif jaeduk spotting this kind of image =(

Frankly i tink of all the rest of sechskies member i tink jaeduk seem to be the most thats is becoming more good looking ok i sound practically favouritism as he is one of my fav member in sechskies but he look quite young wif that kind of hairstyle in the first pic i really love his look before he entered the army. Haiz i miss jaeduk oppa.

Im now waiting for the epi of Come to play whereby Jiwon invites Suwon over as his BEST FRIENDS GUEST yes can u believe it i find it juz so super sweet and at the same time assured that deep down in Jiwon heart he still regard his Sechskies members as his best frend i really hope Jiwon could make up his frendship wif Jiyong tho its been 8 yrs since they quarrel and i tink its really time for them to be frends again i understand its inevitable not to fight wif ur frends esp close frends even Shinhwa which are reknownly to have tenacious frendship among their members do have conflict and as said by izzru which is so true, the forgive and forget part is the most important than the actual fight..i been in this situation before and i knw how it felt like no matter how long u didn talk or didn keep in contact wif your close frends that you quarrel but deep down u still love them as they had ardy been embedded a special place in our heart esp if they are your special frends:)

Im actually procrastinating on whether i should switch this stagnant blog to my aficionado blog on my fav top 90's idol sechskies next to H.O.T and i decided to open it due to the fact that i seem to have alot on this grp on mind and also been inspire by izzru(the long lasting fans of sechskies). But this blog is not totally the fan-ish type it would just contain my thoughts that i wish to spill on these group :)

Ok to introduce Sechskies are one of the top idol back in the 90's and being famously known as the rival of H.O.T. Most of the fans back then were either H.O.T or Sechskies fans. The name Sechskies literally mean as 6 crystal in german and they are divided in two kies which is Black Kies consist of the 3 older member; Jiwon,Jaejin and Jaeduc while the White Kies consist of the other 3 younger member; Sunghoon,Jiyong and Suwon. They debut on 15 April 1997 and sadly disband only after 3 years of activities on May 2000 due to their crap management co DSP.
